  • “Every full minute of movement that equals or exceeds the intensity of a brisk walk counts toward your daily Exercise and Move goals. For wheelchair users, this is measured in brisk pushes. Any activity below this level counts only toward your daily Move goal. To make sure that you earn Exercise credit during walks, allow the arm with your Apple Watch to swing naturally. For example, while walking your pet, let the arm with your watch swing freely while the other holds the leash. If you need both hands while walking, for example to push a stroller, you can still earn Exercise credit with the Workout. Open the app on your Apple Watch and tap Outdoor Walk. The Activity app relies on arm motion and an accelerometer to track movement, but the Workout app can use the accelerometer, the heart rate sensor, and GPS.” - Apple.

8. Why do I see less performance indicators on my Dashboard than the rest of my friends?

  • INGO Health can track up to 5 performance indicators (KPIs): Calories, Training, Sleep, Steps, and Water.

If you see less or more performance indicators on your dashboard, it could be for one of the following reasons:

  • Your administrators can set up different programs for different groups of people. Double-check with your company if the performance indicators that are showing on your Dashboard are accurate.
  • You might have indicated that you have turned off tracking for practices that can affect certain health conditions.

9. Why are my daily targets and points different from the rest of my friends’?

  • Different Targets: The daily targets used in each goal are calculated based on your age, gender, and body mass index (BMI); therefore, almost each individual will have a different target in each of the 5 performance indicators that INGO Health can measure.
  • Different Points: Your administrators can set up different programs for different groups of people. Points you receive for reaching a goal are decided by your insurance company.

10. What’s the difference between targets and goals? What are daily and weekly goals?

  • Targets are calculated based on who you are, but goals are configured by your insurance company.
  • You company may decide to make your daily target a daily goal or a weekly goal. Example: Say your daily target in calories is 860 kcal. Your company might decide to reward you points every day you burn at least 860 kcal (daily goal), or for reaching this target a minimum of 3 times per week (weekly goal).
  • In other terms you can consider that daily goals are easier to achieve than weekly goals.

11. Why did my targets change?

Targets may change when you edit your height or weight, because targets are calculated using your body mass index (BMI).

12. Why did my goals and points change?

Your company can choose to change the goals for the group that you belong to at any time. The group you belong to is usually a combination of your policy and policy plan.
